In addition to visits to CCVEstremoz exhibitions, our team has been producing an extremely diverse series of other scientific and technological dissemination activities.
Field trips (in geology, but also in biology), birthday parties, scientific holidays, conferences (held both in the Centre's space, and in schools or other institutions), are some of the existing possibilities. We are still available to study how to collaborate on challenges that eventually they want to make us…
Field Exits
Field trips in the field of Earth and Life Sciences constitute teaching/learning strategies that, when well planned and well explored, allow participants to acquire a completely different perspective that complements the theoretical work.
They arouse the interest of the participants and lead to their active participation, as they allow direct observation in a natural environment.
In collaboration with the school community or other entities that request it. The Centro Ciência Viva de Estremoz supports and promotes field trips in the field of earth and life sciences. The support provided ranges from bibliographic sources, laboratory material and technical support before, during and after field trips.

Science Kiosk
"Science Kiosk", which aims to disseminate science in the school space at all levels of education, whenever requested. All the activities of the "Kiosk" fall within the area of Physical and Natural Sciences.
It should be noted that this Kiosk is part of a project by Ciência Viva - Geology in the Summer, in which every summer, during the month of August, it travels to the beaches of the Alentejo and Algarve coasts with a set of activities for all types of public.

From Pedal to Energy
It is a project conceived by Quercus – National Association for the Conservation of Nature – which was joined by the Centro Ciência Viva de Estremoz.
“Energia a Pedalar” is a didactic module consisting of 5 bicycles.
From the energy generated by the movement of bicycles, which each individual provides, it is possible to simulate the use of various sources of renewable energy, namely:

Observações Astronómicas
As observações astronómicas serão compostas pela visualização direta da esfera celeste e pela observação de vários objetos astronómicos através de telescópios, onde de uma forma prática poderão ser abordados diversos temas como movimentos, distâncias, tipos de estrelas, evolução estelar, entre outros.
Dependendo da altura do ano serão apresentadas as constelações que se podem observar no céu, bem como os planetas e alguns objetos do céu profundo como galáxias, nebulosas e aglomerados. Serão dadas algumas indicações simples para a identificação das constelações mais conhecidas e como através destas se pode identificar as restantes.
As observações astronómicas, estão dependentes das condições atmosféricas e são adaptadas a todas as idades.

O CCVEstremoz disponibiliza para os Seniores 3 programas, constítuidos cada um por um dia de atividades, sendo os horários ajustados mediante as solicitações e necessidades de cada grupo.
